We want you to love your KJ Gift Shop masterpieces and we also want you to be safe. We recommend that you be aware of the risks associated with our product usage, and that you exercise caution.

Candle Care

Keep out of reach from children and pets at all times.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Glass may become hot. Always burn your candle on an appropriate heat resistant surface.
Do not burn near any flammable items including curtains, fabric, aerosols etc.
When lighting for the first time burn until wax melts across entire surface to the sides of jar (this prevents tunnelling, and creates an even burn for the duration of the candle’s ‘life’).
Trim wick to 5 mm before each burn to promote an even burn, steady flame and limit sooting/mushrooming and curling of wick.
Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris at all times.
Do not burn candle next to an open window as a drafts can cause the flame to blow and burn the glass.
Extinguish a candle if it smokes or the flame becomes too large. Let it cool, trim the wick and relight.
Use a candle snuffer to properly extinguish your candle flame. If you do not have a candle snuffer, extinguish the flame by blowing gently on the flame until extinguished.
To experience a good scent throw, keep doors and windows closed as drafts disperse the fragrance making it less noticeable.
Always store your candles in a cool place avoiding direct sunlight.

Soap/Bath Bomb Care

If irritation occurs stop use immediately.
Do not use soap near eyes. If soap gets in eyes wash eyes with eye lids open with running water for at least 15 minutes. Then contact a doctor or medical centre immediately.
Always store your soap and bath bombs where it can avoid direct sunlight.

Lip Balms and Lip Scrubs

If irritation occurs stop use immediately.
Lip Scrub - Scrub Lips, and then simply lick off.
Lip Balm - Apply balm and allow to moisturise kips.
Always store with lid sealed.
